Fritz Advisory is an art consulting firm founded by Leslie Fritz in 2015 serving private individuals, foundations, galleries, artists’ estates and philanthropic organizations. Our team is composed of individuals with distinct and specific experiences which position us to offer clients expansive support. Our intimately designed and customized programs, strategies, and visioning are unique to each client. Fritz Advisory is active on the international primary and secondary markets. We have offices in New York and Paris, and oversee projects globally. Client discretion is principal to Fritz Advisory. Information available upon request.
Leslie engages with each client as thought partners. Her approach begins with identifying the client’s core vision, values and interests in order to design a personalized, thorough program and defined roadmap for learning, experience, and decision making. Meaningful dialogue is central to this process. In Leslie’s work with public partnerships, she offers cultural strategies for the enhancement and amplification of an organization’s mission. Fritz Advisory roots the work of artists within each organization’s respective legacy and future visioning; art becomes the nexus for meaning-making and capacity building.
Leslie has been immersed in the art ecosystem for over 20 years and brings extensive knowledge of supporting artists and gallery operations. Prior to expanding into an advisory role, Leslie has more than 15 years of gallery experience on the primary and secondary markets in multiple distinguished galleries, and founded and operated her own gallery, Renwick Gallery/Leslie Fritz Gallery, from 2007-2013. All this groundwork provided Leslie an experience of the commercial art world through many relevant perspectives which inform the expertise and expansive consultation she offers: artist management, sales, acquisitions, operations, strategy, curating, writing, publishing, philanthropy, institutional engagement. The results of which have formed the basis for Leslie’s ethos– relationship is the foundation; trust is the structure; thoroughness, accountability, commitment, and discretion are the methodology. Fundamentally, Leslie is guided by the belief that art is transformative.
Leslie previously served as the Co-Chair of the Board of Recess and currently serves on MoMA’s Learning & Engagement Committee, and the Advisory Committee of ANTSC.
